Dear Shiloh Members,
The Shiloh Community Development Corporation is pleased to announce that
it will be hosting its first annual award winning and nationally known
Children's Defense Fund Freedom School (CDFFS) this summer at Shiloh
Baptist Church. The school will be in session from 6 July through 14
August and will have 5 classes of 10 children for a total of 50 children
in 5th through 8th grades. This year the theme of the school is "I Can
Make a Difference". This theme will be reflected in all of the books
read and activities performed.
We are urgently seeking a Site Coordinator and 6 Servant Leader Interns.
Attached is information regarding the CDFFS along with the position
descriptions for a Site Coordinator and Servant Leader Intern.
Applicants MUST be able to attend the training along with the other
requirements as stated in the position descriptions. Servant Leader
Interns are generally upbeat, have a positive attitude, are able to
relate to the children they serve and adhere to the strict guidelines
established by CDFFS program. If you are interested in volunteering your
services, wondering how you can get involved, know of someone who may be
interested in applying for the positions that are available, or you just
